Posting Great Tweets
- Start your tweet with a question - What farm animal is most important? Ridiculous awesome research by these Kinders!
- Use SIMPLE #hashtags for quick access later - no more than 2 hashtags per tweet
- Keep the subject in full view with photos - less background!
- Avoid being overly formal - Twitter is a conversation
- Use superlatives and alliteration - blow your mind - incredibly awesome - amazing art -
- Use abbreviations when you can, but don't over do it - Kinders create awesome artwork! 1st gr perf. tonight at 7pm
- Use action verbs and fewer nouns
- Promote your Twitter handle with parents
- @mention authors, experts, and wait for a response! (Search their Twitter handle in Google ahead of time)
- Show only eyes or back of head in case of privacy needs
