RMS and HES Teams,
I have been surrounded by courageous, risk takers over the last quarter. Trying new ipad apps, different ways to teach vocab, hour of code with ALL grade levels, kindergarten PBLs, speaking at all county/state conference, BYOD, joining an edCamp session, Google Hangouts, PE PBLs, google forms, flubaroo, eWISER Projects, blogging, collaborating in Google Classroom, and Science PBLs are just some of the adventures.
It is so incredibly awesome to experience these challenges together. While we have stumbled over some "rocks" and we've had to reroute, others have soared to pinnacles we could not have imagined. Honestly, you have encouraged me to try new things that took more time, or required more brain power like a video project with the Discovery Ed team. You guys inspired me to coerce my group into completing a difficult task. In fact, we are still not done with it, but the risk taking part was a little exhilarating!
We had some student risk takers as well, and here is what one of them said,
"I wasn't sure what to do at first, but I'm glad I tried, because it worked out great!" (big smile)
So the message is simple, "if you want to try something new or twist up something you used before...I'm your wingman. (watched Top Gun over Thanksgiving break)
Looking forward to Q3!
